  • Where are you getting your photos taken?

    If it’s an outside venue, avoid browns, greens, and busy patterns. Go for blues, reds, solids, neutrals, tones or shades of blacks, greys, or lighter tones like white. Avoid clothing colors that are too close to your skin color. You don’t want to wash yourself out or disappear.

    Weather will also impact your clothing decision. Long sleeves on a hot day is going to be miserable. Short sleeves on a cold day will show on your face that you are cold.

  • Please bring props that mean something to you. Items that hold value to you will enhance your photographs. These could be musical instruments, hats, toys, balls, purses, sunglasses, jackets, pets, etc.

    Be mindful that some locations may not allow balls or animals.
